My DC: Local View

Yes, this week it’s pictures of the Capitol, which — along with the White House — is about as non-local as it gets here in DC. However, because I live on Capitol Hill, it is a place I see every day. Last weekend, though, I got a new perspective on it, one that I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have gotten if I didn’t live here. I went to a fundraiser for the school friends’ children attend, and it was held on the roof deck of a law firm with the lovely view pictured below.

    It is a nice shot. And hey, roof decks are very DC. We are a people in love with some roof decks.
